In the Gospel of Luke, Jesus, Yeshua, quoted the prophet Isaiah:
“The Spirit of the Lord GOD is on Me, because the LORD has anointed Me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners.” Isaiah 61:1
I believe that as Christians, believers in Yeshua, we are called to do the same. I also believe that whatever we’re going through, whatever emotions we’re experiencing, they are in the book of Psalms. Love? Anger? Joy? Betrayal? Forgiveness? Disappointment? Divine protection? It’s all there.
“Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105
I pray that the verses and experiences I write about will encourage you to dig deeper in the Psalms and that they will lead you along this path encouraged, equipped and victorious. Grab a friend and come along!
